well i just got the news from yesterdays halibut meeting, a 12 day season on the strait!

they use some hokus-pokus model to determine how many pounds of halibut were taken, never mind taking a look at the catch record cards. it should be interesting to see if these sorts of decisions by the WDFW are going to be enough to get the sport community moving to take control.
