1997 yamaha saltwater series 2 compression

Hey guys any ideas on what compression should be on these motors and what kind of hrs can be had from them? [8)]

those are great and bullet proof engines. Im not sure on the compression, and it would be totally dependant on the hours - but i know a friend has a 1995 engine with over 2000hours on it and it still runs flawless

sounds good I have heard you can get like four thousand hrs on a well loked after two stroke. I am getting 100 to 106 pounds compression, seems low to me however i was not wot when I checked which I hear can make a difference.

Mines a 1993 115 HP with over 2000 hrs still running fine had the compression checked last May and dealer just shook his head and said he won't be selling me another unit soon.
The only thing wrong is the paint is fading on the cover !
