17' Whaler Refit

ship happens

Done the first phase of this early 17' Whaler. Was a work boat for the coast guard In previous years

Transom, some of the floor in the rear got rebuilt completely as well as a custom motor well. Sprayed and brushed on gel coat in the floor area with a gel coat non-skid floor. Fiberglass drain tubes glassed into the bow locker, motorwell drains and the garboard drain plug location.

Stainless keel guard

Boat is rock solid and foam is dry as a bone. It's the most rock solid whaler hull in this size I have personally seen in my career.

Not 100 percent sure what I'm going to do with it at this point. Could be for sale. Maaaybe.

What should we do with this tough little whaler?
