WTB $300 000 Boat for $100 000. Serious offers only please.

Verbal offer in on the 30 commander. I've told the wife to shove it and let me deal with the boat. Felt good considering having a baby has made me feel like the most insignifanct and useless piece of crap in the world. I'M BACK BABY!
That's a big boat for you to use all by yourself! lol!

Yeah I really can't see the 9.9 doing very well. Mine barely pushes my bayliner. The wife will 100% want the carpet changed to vinyl asap.
Hey RC. The owner of the 92 is a member of the Commanders members group and Commanders Facebook page. I saw his boat this summer and asked him about the Yamaha as I would like to install either that or the 25hp HT on mine.
My boat has the D4's and they are much heavier than the 41 series in the 92. So my boat sits much lower the back already. I think if I did put a kicker on that I may have to put some sort of pod for extra flotation. Not sure. Hopefully your deal works out and you can tell me how it works.
Here is what the owner said about the 9.9.

Hi Dave the Kicker works well, however if there is a wind you need to coil up the windows in the Bimini. I had the swim grid reinforced with extra fiberglass on the support brackets and it seems to be holding up well. The Sea Wise davit system was custom made taking the kicker into account so it doesn't interfere at all, it works seamlessly.

Awesome thanks man!

Well all right this is great...if it doesn't work out there's always the Commander 38...
yah that thing is pretty sweet. Don't think so though lol. After thinking long and hard about our budget this one is already a stretch, I hope it works out.

I really like the 38 layout and build but I think it is just too much boat for stern drives. Would be better as shaft drive although the layout would change then I guess.

FYI I would put a Garmin autopliot or similar on the kicker. The Commander 30 has a 3/4 length small keel and does not exhibit the side to side wander a normal deep vee has. Plus being a heavier boat you will find it tracks very straight at trolling speeds. With autopilot you could fish solo.

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. I'm struggling trying to not imagine all the cool things I'm going to do but the seller is going to have to some to the table first.

RC. I don't think you understand the rules of this monster thread you created. We as an entity have determined the best boat for you and will spend your money as we seem fit.
Just sit back, relax, and let us do the work. Oh and better get another job! :) lol

The mold for the 25 Bertram is on the island somewhere.A friend borrowed it from "Canoe Cove" a while back. They built a few back in the day.

I know of a minty 2002 or 2003 Commander 26, KAD43, 1900 hrs, 9.9 kicker, down riggers, 3 axle trailer, inflatable tender, all electronics, open wallet maintenance, stored indoors in the off season. It's not advertised but he's asking $97.5k.

There was an 01 26 that I looked at. Decided the 30 was the better long term plan.
