fishing at duval pt is now ok some nice springs biting and some pinks have shown up cohoes scarce thou low slack first of flood seems ok

I just got back yesterday. The fishing was terrific. Springs out off Lawn Point at 245 feet. The water was great for the entire time we were there. The weather is turning with big winds predicted for the weekend.Lots of coho in Grants Bay and around Kains Island.

Will be heading up to Winter Harbor on the 18 for a couple of days I hope my luck holds with the weather gods. I``m 2 for 2 on my trips this year on the west coast for nice weather.

Its been blowing like a MF these past couple days and looks like it might continue for a few more.........crazy butt winds right now.

New to the forum, looks like lots of good info and knowledgeable people!
Anyways just wondering if there is any pink action at the beaches in Hardy and McNeill yet. My wife and I and two friends are headed up there at the end of the month for fish the Cluxewe Beach. Sounds like the pinks are around but still out at sea for now. Anyone have an idea when the beach fishing should pick up?

Pinks are around now, but are still moving through, in about two weeks, they should be off the beaches. Just be aware of the one/person/day limit of the Clux.

Hardy is where I am. Fishing for pinks. Oh boy.... Fishing was slow and the winds picked up yesterday. Had to resort to drinking.

I can't seem to find the one pink limit on the DFO web site. Can you tell me where you got this info? I remember a few year back it was just posted on trees at the campsite. Is this the case now?

It is the hardest to find, I have complained about it but they do not seem to want to change it. It is on the second to last page of the "COHO and CHINOOK OPENINGS AND OTHER CLOSURES link found on the area 12 page.
