Guys, would I have difficulties launching a 19ft fiberglass boat at low tide at either McDonald or #2 road? The parking lot at #2 is small, was it full when you guys got there yesterday or today? Thanks

Jammed today at Noon, same with yesterday , imagine itll be like this for awhile, they seem to have a ton of old crap around and trailers with no vehicles, what's that about. Might have to remind them what their lease is about , especially now when we only get a few weeks to fish. Its not a repair yard or storage last time I remember

We trolled n arm to sandheads and back yesterday. There were some spots where we actually put her in neutral and riggers were still stretched. One big tip. Bring lots of chovies! Went tru 2 packs with all the missed hits dogs and shakers. We experienced a lot of soft hits. Sucks to run out.

Vanier was almost full when I got there around 8am yesterday (2 hour traffic delay on my way in). That said, the opposite side with the car stalls was pretty much empty so I wonder if anyone would give you grief if you parked on that side if the main side was already full....

You'd likely get grief. Park at the Planetarium and buy tickets, one for boat and one for trailer.

Bait is sold out everywhere, so to ration a bit, I'll be trying some hardware the next time I'm out. Thinking my gold nugget spoon should be good for the top rod.

If you're catching dogs, you may want to try trolling a bit faster. Usually does the trick for me. Had that happen yesterday.

Not a lot of reports considering the number of boats. Sounds like fishing is good though. Is it what everyone hoped for?

Actually I was hopin for Farrah Fawcett (back in the day ...for you young bloods look er up) , a boat like yours and a mansion on the island now that u asked , but in a pinch and reality it was a great day on the water yesterday
