Love this one, really hits it for me.
I am a fisherman and always in the pursuit of fish, doesn’t matter to me I find as much thrill searching for and landing a 1 lb Grayling on a pure northern stream or a 8 lb walleye on a northern boreal lake or a 30 lb chinook salmon out of the cold Pacific or searching for the ever allusive 25 plus pound Lake Trout on my home lake. It’s the pursuit and the experience that draws me and keeps me fuelled. Gone are the days of fishing to fill the freezer, it’s time we forget about that it’s time to just enjoy the fact we still have the means and the ability to enjoy it. And when it’s appropriate and when it’s time to take some home for the table to enjoy then so be, don’t feel guilty about it. Managed properly I hope and trust we can keep doing this for many years and many generations to come but we all have to do our part to ensure that and if that means making sacrifices now then that’s what we have to do. But enough on my blabbing enjoy the video.
