I just completed installation of an Axiom7 RV and RV100 transducer, with a y-cable adapter to a prior installed B744V 600w 50/200Hz transducer. Also installed previously is a first generation Dragginfly 5 in the cockpit. When using the y-adapter the Axiom conical chirp sonar channel is replacd by the 50/200 hz transducer channel.
I had my first short sea trial yesterday. I have a lot to test and learn still in terms of setup and operation but one quickly discovered issue is the Draggonfly operating in Sonar (vs downvision) seems to put a lot of static on the Axiom 50/200 screen. This is more anecdotal as I have not put any of the system through any systematic testing. ....more to follow, including taking out the 50/200 transducer and checking the conical chirp on the RV100
