I have a 2006 9.9 Yamaha (big block engine with power tilt) powerhead (only) that I no longer need. I have removed the head to check for any salt build up in the head and block. There was a little in one part of the head which was easily removed. The cylinders are perfect with no wear ridge and still lots of cross hatching on the bores. I'm going to deck the head just to make sure its flat and buy a new head gasket for it. This would make a great spare powerhead for someone who likes these engines and wants to keep the one on their boat running for along time. I will leave the head off so the buyer can see for themselves the condition of the bores, pistons and head. I will install and torque the head before you leave with it. $500.00 firm.
