Found a guy selling a Norwegian, while talking to him he let me know he's on disability and a few other things along with his poor luck at bottom fishing in his 6hp powered tinny; any good fish he's ever had on were lost mainly because his old rod reel aren't up to it.
I'm going up Island to meet him and buy his 750g lure but I'm also going to give him some easier to handle jigs and a new condition Savy Sumo jigging rod, I'm looking to buy a decent reel to add like a Penn 330gt or Shimano TLD25 maybe? I have 100lb tuff line I can spool it with and heavy mono, show him how to build a hali rig and a leader for jigs.
Just looking to make someone's day a bit brighter and help out a fellow fisherman as a contribution for the coming overspending holiday season. Let me know what you have and I'll try and get a photo with him and his new gear.
