Winter fishing Campbell river/ quadra

Heading up to quadra island to visit inlaws. Any tips on spots for winters?
Are the spots the same as summertime?

Spots are the same. and technique is the same (fishing the bottom). Try small stuff (needle fish hootices, coho killers, 3 inch spoons etc) and chovies!

Should be quite a few boats out on Boxing Day weather permitting

Went out south of quadra today picked up a few prawns and a nice feeder chinook. Just me my buddy and one other boat out there today.
