I am renting a house close to ocean between Nanaimo and Ladysmith so just wondering where it would be possible to try from shore May 22-27. I dont have any ocean fishing info so tips on lures, bait, gear to bring, what kind of fish would be present etc would be much appreciated and some areas I might try. I have lots of fresh water fishing gear. I cant afford a charter so looking for spots hopefully close but will have a rental car. Thanks in advance.
