When the fog clears

Had a close call offshore of Ukee at 6 am in thick fog and nasty chop a couple years ago, me and the other boat I was with were going pretty slow and another boat came out of nowhere, and uncomfortably close. They were going a bit faster, but we probably had no business being that far out in that weather in the first place. Lesson learned for me that I should probably have an EPIRB strapped on if I’m going to be taking those sorts of risks. To be honest it was a bit of a wake up call and we were lucky.

as seen at rocky point after the fireworks. more than a few times. happened to us once while waterskiing around the boom. steering cable broke and the boat taking a 90 ended 30' up on the boom. thankfully no one hurt. 15' sangster. 6 of us lifted/slid it back in the water. no harm, no foul. we didnt even tell our parents and boat only had a small rub mark from where it hit the boom.
