What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

I'm cutting down my bow sprit By 11" because my marina has a strict 30Ft. overall rule.It measured 30Ft. 8" with motors tilted up.So it will be 3" under when I'm done. PITA,but I knew the rules when I joined,I just didn't think a 2470 Pursuit was that big OA.

Fired the tub in the water for a shake down trip this week.. the few things fixed this up for this year. A good trip just need to puill the boat to clean up and put a layer of wax on it shortly just need the weather..

Well, lots done to the ol' Sea Ray this winter:
Installed a 140TT Lewmar bow thruster - too much drama at times, down the long fairway and then backing in. In the water soon to try it out.

New Point 1, Lowrance FS 9 and Halo 20+ radar installed. I used the pedestal SFBC member Brandon fabricated and welded - very nice, now with white epoxy paint! Pictures coming soon.
Those are some nice upgrades. I’ve had similar Lowrance setup but not the halo! Would love to see pictures of the boat and know how the bow thruster works.

Prior boat owner had some rusty hardware, little/no backing plates, and wrong/no sealant depending on the bolts. So….Removed all through transom bolts for pod, kicker bracket, tie down rings, replaced some non stainless bolts/washers/nuts, applied 3m, measured, cut, drilled and installed 3/16 aluminum backing plates, and bolted all together. Now i can install a completely new wiring system and electronics to replace the fire trap spaghetti that it came with. This is almost cheaper than the fuel if i had just taken it fishing as is. Looking forward to the finished product. After working down the list….

Thanks Kaelc!
I'm servicing the drive this weekend then back in the water for the season. Exciting to try the new gear out. I'll report back with pictures.
