Welded Aluminum Boats

Has anyone checked out the welded aluminum skiffs made by Versatile tech.? INA Marine carries them. They look good to me except the welding looks kind of gobby. I don't know much about welding.

Functional but not pretty..

Perfectly fine for the size of boat. I’d only raise a fuss about it if you were buying a pricey off shore boat.

But I could weld that good and I’m not a welder haha

Well, as a SFBC certified welding inspector, I'd say she looks pretty good.
