I think I’ll find a nice all in one unit. It might be worth it to suck it up and spend the money on something like what Mr. Craven posted. Can always take it with me and put in the next one.

No matter what.....avoid Raymarine at all cost, total garbage . My brand new Axiom packed it in after 20 hrs, shipped it back under warranty so its been gone for 3 weeks, hasn't worked for 5 weeks , still isn't fixed. If I'm lucky I should get it back in the boat just in time for the season to be done which is just what I guy wants after dropping basically $2K.
