Did the Foruno TM185HW transducer end up working well for you with the Lowrance 12" display? Considering same setup. I didn't know Foruno transducers worked with Lowrance display units.

Not sure is it Furuno or Airmar that's the OEM for the TM185HW? Either way yes I just had to order it with the plug end that fit my Lowrance unit. I believe you can order them with any plug end that fits the unit you want them to work with.

You ordered from Airmar directly? I don't see an option on their site to specify Lowrance plug.

No I ordered it from Hodges Marine. They have them with different plug ends. You'll need the Navico 9 pin to fit into the Lowrance HDS12
