Nice fish Pescador, good to hear theres still a few big ones around.
Real time report. Just off flag pole. Nailed a 36 on chovy at 245 in 60 feet of water 42 on rigger. Epic battle. Had to run around boat solo after big boy decided to sound and dive directly under boat. For all you guys at the wall, stay there. I'll stick to Clover/Flag pole.

Yes, it is not uncommon to get a big slab in the breakwater-waterfront area this time of the year, but how do you figure they are travelling East Porcupine and where do you think they are going?Nice fish! All those fish that are by the beakwater swim east past the flagpole and clover. Not uncommon at this time of year to get a big slab there.

Those Breakwater Springs are pen fish originally from the Nitinat Lake run and are looking for somewhere to spawn.
They are often in the area until they get so black (mature) they are not worth catching.
Where do you figure they are going?
Stopped by Sunday afternoon for a quick troll, no boats, no bait, no fish.
The flats usually host transient fish for short periods depending on bait availability.
This time of year there are usually fewer fish .
