I am recently embarking on Kayak fishing in the Vancouver area, specifically Bowen Island region and want to know if there are other Kayak fishers in the Vancouver area? Looking for experiences, stories etc. I have set up a downrigger on my kayak for up to 200'. So far it has worked without dumping me upside down. Have been out a few times off Hutt Island but still looking for my first customer, other than the pesky seals that seem to be appearing. Any feedback would be welcome, along with current activity updates, other productive lauching sites I could drive to - etc.
