Transom support

Does anybody use transom support that goes to the trailer with their 250 outboard. Thinking about getting 1 but not to sure what 1 to buy and will have to see if there is a max weight or max HP for the transom support. Trying to see if they come in steel instead of aluminum for strength.

Id like one..but with the pod and trailer set up its a looooong way from the leg to the trailer. Curious to see other ideas.
