Tofino

Well guys, I've booked 3 nights at Crystal Cove resort in tofino March 19-22. Hoping some of you seasoned island vets can steer me in the right direction for some good prawning/crab/fishing spots in the area. Has anyone stayed there? What are the regulations for distance should we encounter any whales? Any and all help greatly appreciated by this Osoyoos guy.
