Anyone know if you could tie a 17' boat at the Sooke Rotary Pier while grocery shopping at Village Foods?

Answering my own question... Pulled up to the pier on Saturday afternoon and it was PACKED with people crabbing. Great to see so many people out enjoying the waterfront, but amazed there's any crab left at all. Only space to tie up is on the inside of the two floats, and there's only room for one boat each side. One side had a small sailboat that looked like it has been abandoned 
, but we were able to pull into the other float. Make sure you go right at the end of the pier, and from there it's a short walk up Murray Rd to downtown Sooke. Very convenient if you are on the East Sooke side of the basin, rather than have to drive all the way around.
