Hello everyone, first time poster here. i know that Rotary Pier / Sooke Marine Boardwalk is mainly used for crabbing, but i was thinking about fishing as well while im there. is it a decent spot to fish or will i just be wasting my time? if anyone could give me some useful information, id greatly appreciate it.

I think you might be wasting time. Head out to east Sooke park and fish off the rocks like many others. A lot of fish are caught out there by shore fishers.
ahhh okay thank you, i was just curious because i was going to be crabbing, and didnt know if i was going to be wasting my time
