suspension seats

school me on these please, i have 2 kingfisher suspension seats set up.. i cannot figure out if they can be made to be stiffer other than the dial setting. i am pondering switching them out for something more robust. Options??when i have a guy 200lbs in the passenger seat it bottoms out. so what works for the big guys? say up to 250-300lbs.. i got some big buddies and guests on the boat sometimes.

That seat will. You just have to buy a mountain bike shock pump and tune the air pressure accordingly.

Looked at the “shock” in both seats. The shock is not adjustable. It is a gas stay. Just the preload amount in the coil spring is adjustable. So unless i change out the shock somehow, to an air-shock, these seats are not great. Just ok. I measured the top of the seat mount box to the top of the seat cushion and it was 14”, are shockwave type systems height adjustable?

This is what we came up with. Shockwave with a custom middle piece to mount the swivel seat onto. Adjustable up to 300lbs
