We can certainly go 'round and 'round on the issue of size limits and catch limits but I find it really quite funny that us sporties fight about small issues such as this when the commercial fleet in all its immensity slaughters more fish than we can ever dream about; and thats just in their by-catch.
Just another example of why 'sportsfishermen' as a user group, can never come together as a cohesive voice for the management of our fisheries.
Whatever the regs are, I follow them and if I wish to get out fishing a few times in the winter and get a few springs to add to my licence, then thats what I'll do.
By the way... I'm glad someones got some morals

Was on the water today after the rain!!!! Fish jumping everywhere! Managed two nice coho both on hootchies 12 and 14 pounds and lost one over 20 did six cartwheels and spit the hook. Guests were sure happy! Out again tuesday.
