Thanks everyone. I knew this hotel/boating/parking thing was a mess for the locals. Won't be going on a weekend. Sad when people get excited about a pink year.
Rumour has it Mr. Prestige, before he passed, found out his daughter's husband, who worked in another business was sleeping with a colleague. To stay married and connected to the money, he was instructed by the old man to quit his job and come run the hotel chain along with Mr. Prestige junior. Not surprising it's a **** show.

Yes, ESQ. Anglers is a great template for a small foot print. Sidney ramp is also for the boats that go in and out of there. I forget the price tag on that ramp but it was a huge waste of money for a problem like you say that can't be fixed now.

There is also moorage at Mariners Village which is right in town and only a mile from the hotel. It would save you 10 minutes of running in and out of the basin/harbour each day....longer in the fog.

The Prestige hotel/ramp has been there what 5 years now or so ??? It is what it is.. Not going to change anytime soon.. People deal with every year and park on the road and do what they have too. There's other ramps out there or moor your boat like some of us. Makes life so much easier !!
