I have a bunch of those, some still in the package. All chrome though, not half and half like seen here. Back in the day we used these a lot.

AHH yep kildonan and remember 2 lb balls off the rod and planer boards and deep six too!!!!! abe & al which you would try and bend a certain way to make it go slower or faster or whip!!!behind was strip you cut yourself and a sounder that would rotate clockwise and blip when hit bottom LOL LOL
things were way easier back then.... LOL

Ya, I remember all that stuff. We used the Abe n' Al's for Coho mostly, with a flashtail, Henry Smith or some other kind of spoon. Depended where we were fishing. We used planers for Springs with six inch whole herring in one of these rigs. It was called Herring Magic.

Things were simpler but there were a lot more fish so that MAY have increased our odds a wee bit. ;-)
