Some help fishing on ECVI

I plan on heading out on the salt in 2 weeks. I have never fished the salt by myself in my boat. So I would like someone to come out with me to show me the ropes.

I plan on dropping a couple crab and prawn traps, and jigging for lings in Sansum Narrows, launching from Cowichan Bay. If anyone here would like to help me out let me know.

Iam now in the Nanaimo area, good experience trolling and jigging for salmon, maybe i can drink with ya while we watch the lines.
