I would like to try smoke and can some trout.Does anyone have some suggestions?I would also like to have some form of liquid in the jar while canning.Anymore suggestions.Thanx tons folks.Happy Holidays.
I can echo the Rook. SMoked some years ago at a Kamloops lodge. Just butterflied (butterflew?), then set in salt and BS over night. Not really a trout fisherman, so haven't done it since. But they were sure good! Did not can them though.
