There are lots of good lights, but I just use a 1M candle power handheld. Flexible and can be useful camping or for roadside purposes.

Seasport old one is mounted up top forward on wheelhouse, but it fell apart from old age.

Theres a few remote search lights on the market. Go light has a decent one, if that's what your looking for. We stock them.
Check out the Stryker model. Have had good luck with them. However the servo motors do not like being sunk lol

Really depends on use.
I used remote spotlights when commercial fishing, you had them on alot.
Now that I am 'retired', I use the Stanley Fat Max led spot.
I have two of them in different boats, for years, and they are great for shorter usage.
They will light up an anchorage well.
Best part is that they stay in and out of the weather, unlike spots that are fixed to the boat.
