Saw this nice looking rig at RipTide Marine (express custom) when I was at Pacific Net and Twine.

There is a stabi down the road at Vanisle Marine. I think they have the sealeg dealer.

Either way neat machines.

That's the boat that @zurk gets overly excited about. I'm not feeling the lines of it though. Curves and angles and swoops...oh my!

What do you do with those legs? Drive it out on a beach? Why?

They are popular (relatively speaking for a niche product) in places like the UK or NZ where you have a flat sandy beach (think Rathtrevor) and you can't build a dock in front of your cabin / house. Not meant for 4x4-ing up a steep rocky shore - although wouldn't mind seeing the video if someone has more money than sense to try!

I saw a zodiac with those Sea Legs in Nanaimo last year. It was pretty sweet watching it load up onto the trailer. No more hassle of launching your boat with a trailer. Just park your trailer in a parking spot, hop on your boat and drive it into the ocean. No waiting for people at the ramps.
