Salt Pitted Windows

My glass windows seemed to be pitted from the salt. Anybody have any tips on restoring the glass. Tried a few cleaners but no luck.

I haven't tried this but I did use Buff Magic on my boat this spring and it did a great job on the gel coat.

I had good result with steel wool and an automotive rubbing compound. Took some elbow grease but it works. Do small area first though.

Thanks for the replies. I will try some steel wool in a small area see if it helps. Almost seems like it's pitted right in the windshield.
