Rod tip replacement

Had a 4 or so year old Shimano Convergence rod tip explode.
Looking for new tip or does anyone build to suit?
I've tried Peters and Gone Fishin' Courtenay, no luck.
It's a CV106PHB 10'-6". Sounds like Shimano has downsized operations in Vancouver to a small office and has cleared out old stock.

Shimano changes models every 5 years or so you may be SOL.

I took that same model back to Island outfitters and they gave me the new model, at no cost.

buckys in duncan will do it for 2 or 3 bucks! they did 3 rods for me and fixed a crack where the two halves come together for like 5 bucks.

I only have half a rod. The tip blew into 3 pieces.
Any where mid island that I might try?
