Pedder Bay or Beecher Bay

I have a 12' aluminum boat and was wondering which of the two Bays would be best suited for my boat and also fishing? I have downriggers setup for trolling and a 7.5 hp motor.

The one that's right beside East Sooke Park looks pretty good........can't remember if that's Beecher or Pedder...

I wouldn't be venturing TOO far in that size boat though........and if there's fog I probably wouldn't go at all.....

That would depend on the weather.Beecher Bay is probably more consistant fishing right now,but wind dependent and as mentioned,foggy alot in Aug. Pedder Bay can be good fishing right now,and if the wind is coming out of the northwest,
which it quite often does,you will be somewhat sheltered in the bay. Check your weather reports,like Big Wave Dave,
and call the marina's for up to date reports as well before going. With a small boat like that,you can't be taking any
chances!
