I guess the canuk whale researchers need to follow the US lead in MM surveys - if Canadian fishermen are to keep access to the American market - is the way I read it from the article...

That it's in their best interest of the government to find favorable reason to keep fishing open? Don't you think it would be better off for the government just to pay the raincoast group to do it since they are an impartial ENGO. or ma

Seems that’s the path that a lot of people out their want.

Perhaps all we need to do is shoot some social media videos of the ocean that have no whales in them and then claim that theirs no whales in the ocean.

Or better yet maybe we can get some videos of emaciated seal pups on the shore and then claim their starving from over fishing of salmon.
