Has anyone been out lately? How is the lake fishing?

Was out Sept 2. Only got two small ones by Fintry. Tried OKC out in the deep, marked some but no sizeable takers. Likely not out again until October 2.

Went out today, skunked. The lake is out of fish.

Ended up 6/7 today… nothing over 2 LBs. All between 60-80 feet on silver and black plugs. About 3 mph. Smaller presentation seemed to be the ticket.

63.5 degree water up at Vernon end. Still pretty warm. Pulled some plugs yesterday, got one smaller taker, 2 other hits up top nothing deep. Out again next week

Sunday the 8th, stunning day on the lake. Cruised to bear creek/Traders area and over to Paul’s Tomb. Got a nice 19 inch fatty down 80 feet on apex. Couple smaller ones on small fishinator up top. Still very warm water, only dropped a degree to 62-62.5.

Went out last night. Pepe le pew'd, I'm starting to think the fish have a personal vendetta against me.

Surface temp is about 60.5 now… marked fished steady from 60-80 ft. Got one 3# rainbow and three Kokanee by-catch in about 4 hours this morning. Was pretty slow to say the least. Next weekend it should turn on, I figure!
