New to the area

I live i Coquitlam close to the Hyde creek fish hatchery.I was hoping somebody could tell me a place I could take my kids salmon fishing close-by?

How old are the kids? Years ago I used to take my kids plunking dew worms for coho jacks in some of the sloughs in the lower Fraser. How about Lafarge lake for trout? Its a good place for kids.

If they have kevlar vests you might be able to take them to the Vedder
