Just a heads up for anybody comming to Port Alberni intending on drifting the upper Stamp river. There has been a slide at Stamp falls campground and access to the drift haul out site was obstructed. Not sure when the road will be cleared but two days ago it was still still blocked. Pontoon boats could be hauled past the blockage but if you drift with a raft or drift boat check the road before you drift.
