Hey guys, new to fishing, wonderin what the scoop is on Nanaimo's hatches and other freshwater tips. thanks

Hatches... lol you must be from the mainland [8D] There are some good chironomid hatches from time to time in the spring, followed by the tiniest mayflies you've ever seen off and on until it gets too warm to fish. This has been my experience, hope it helps...

Long Lake is a good bet in the spring (april, may). Often nothing is hatching so troll leech patterns deep.
