That design is a direct ripoff of an Ocean Sport. Ron Meng was selling Ocean Sports and Kingfishers at the time and the owner of Kingfisher was looking at the OS and lo and behold an Aluminum copy of the OS with a Kingfisher badge is born. This is not a bad thing as the thing has great lines and great use of space. However I am not sure how it translated to the aluminum version as OS has never made an ob version for good reason. They really need that weight down low in the hull that the diesel i/o setups provide. Best thing to do is seatrial her and check it out. If you planned on loading her up for long trips with much gear those 250’s are probably a bit too small but may be ok for use as a day boat. That is an awful lot of painted aluminum to take care of and kind of defeats the purpose of an aluminum boat if you ask me but what do I know.
