Kyuquot crabbing

Going to kyuquot sound for 10 days in
July, does anyone know if it's worth
While to take crab traps, & prawn traps I've heard that there's
Not much for crabs in that area??

very slim pickings for crab with the number of otters in the area, been up there a bunch and never tried as word has it it isnt worth while. although you never know, if someone shares a hole with you it could be productive.

Otters = few crab, take your prawn traps instead.

Yup....first time in there for me was 8 years ago and I was laughed at when asking about crab.

Will be be there the beginning of August myself.

I tried crab and prawn on only one trip. Haven't bothered since.

When was that? 2 years ago late August I didn't find it too bad. Didn't go in last year.
