I am wanting to use these seats on my current boat build. Has anyone rigged these up with a swivel or perhaps a for aft slider mechanism?

I picked one up Sat morning, they incorporate a slider in the seat base. Wonder about the swivel though, I would think a locking swivel would be important at the helm.

has anybody used these seats for more then a couple of seasons? I like the idea I just can't believe that they would last more then a year before getting covered in rust?
