Have you seen this yet?

Nice but $$$$$$? When I try to do that with my boat I look like an octopus falling from a tree!

I would rather go with a guy that can park a boat in a spot that size.........

I bet it is major dollars....and for a few seconds of docking time each day? Even if I had twins....Pass

Got to have twins for that to work obviously. But I always enjoy watching the newbies coming in HOT to the DOCK...put your feet up,crack a Lucky and enjoy!

Good call on the milf if I was loaded I would buy her and the boat but I'm sure there both a pain in the butt in the maintenance department. I liked the hull of that big CC!

Did you check this out Fishlifter Dave!!! For a small price you too could park like that! Ahhh, couldnt resist, dont need a motor to make gas when I got a good fishing buddy like you! See ya for a hunt shortly

That's a whole lot of coin for something you can do by just using forward and reverse with twins. Anyone who has twins knows how easy it is to dock a boat, or turn on a dime when you need to...one forward, one reverse the rest is history.

Ha Ha Ha I guess you haven't seen me try to dock mine eh? I am still in the learning curve, getting better but still funny to watch.

Next year will see joystick controls offered by merc, yam and zuk, http://www.motorboatsmonthly.co.uk/news/532959/yamaha-to-offer-joystick-control,
http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2012/10/mercury-verado-joystick-control-ready-for-2013/

The Teleflex Optimus system is designed for the retrofitt market, it only works with mechanical engines.

Will see single pods hit the market
http://www.marinelink.com/news/propulsion-marines-single336079.aspx

Jet Drives have had joystick control for years.

Sail boats

Twin inboards

Joysticks will be an option on anything above say 30' and cost will come down to the point where for resale reasons alone people will buy em and any manufacturer who doesn't offer Joystick controls in their boats will sink.
What will happen to resale value in 5 to 10 yrs for the boats without joystick control?
