Thread is a "trainwreck"?.......actually it serves to highlight the cataclysmic divide between Science and deity-based religion.

Scientists (who define themselves as users of the "Scientific Method") have proven in sites named here that the Bible,Creation, Inspired Word of God ( and by extension all deity based religions) are complete crock of crap. That makes all scientists Atheists by their own definition becuase they all use The Scientific Method.

Which makes religion obsolete. I'm surpised at the number of filled churches on any given Sunday....becasue there's really no point in them attending.

Since as the New York Times said years ago "God Is Dead" and since there is no pont in religion, the logical step would be to discard or abolish it because it serves no purpose other than to create wars, dissention, and the promulgation of lies.

Since Science is the New Truth and it has debunked religion.....and since science bodies and their findings large part are under the auspices of the UN which is under the auspices if NWO...it would seem that
that God and religion may be on the "chopping block" at some point.

hmmm......says they'll do exactly that in the Bible when the anti-Christ arrives.....not to worry though ...it's all religious bunk.....

What I was getting at is, the usage of the words you zeroed in on hardly amounted to "more times that you can shake a stick at" in an article well over a thousand words long.
And once again, I emphasise, science often does not speak of certainties, but discusses the probabilities and possibilities the evidence indicates, as you would appreciate if you read the article more closely. More discoveries and more research will reduce uncertainty over time but in the realm of geology and paleontology, some uncertainty is always going to exist in areas where natural conditions work against getting certain proof - the feathering (or not) of dinosaurs being an example.
However, one thing is certain, dinosaurs existed - in large numbers - millions of years ago. Now all that is being discussed are the fine details (literally!)

Seafever, he is not "pro-climate change". He is pro science.

And as you point out the IPCC reports have just started coming out and the wording is even more unequivocal and clear than the last report in 2007. Science confirms global warming is happening - very strongly. The only debate is over the fine details - for example will it be 0.5C or 4.8C warmer by the end of the century?

If he's pro-science he's pro climate change, since science emphatically argues that they are right about climate change, the way it's caused, no 'ifs', 'ands' or 'buts'.


He sees himself as some sort of referee between the two bickering climate and anit-climate factions.......sort of like The Cascade Kitchen Counsellor........

He admits that factions on both sides got some of their information wrong (including Al Gore).......but feels that with his abilty to give the actual real truth he can sort the mis-accuracies out pretty quick.

The fact that he has a degree in Geology but no other field does not stop him from wandering into areas where he isn't academically qualified to speak about.
