Just a tip to you all who want to patch up gel coat on your boat: find it hard to self-mix for the perfect colour match? Don't try any longer. Worked it out with the guys from JB Precision on Oak St., Victoria - their scanner and dye mix normally only used to match car paint works perfectly fine with gel coat as well. Come by and check out my boat - you wouldn't be able to tell where I patched - so well it worked. They were surprised themselves and it opens up a great new business area for them... 10,000 boats in Victoria....$$$$
