Pretty slick looking unit there Rayvon. Welcome to the forum. Any more pictures or info on your boat would be nice.;) eman

Nice boat rayvon! Did it come with the hardtop? I have a newer wellcraft I would like to do the same thing to.

cheers,
GnB

I'm a retired shipwright,I made a plug and mold for the hardtop(destroyed now)cut and fit the stainless tubing and had it all welded up.I needed 6'4'' headroom, the insulated fishbox was custom made to fit transom and fit 40+ lb. fish flat. The hull is 1989 but everything else is much newer.

Old shop 79 guy Ray.....then 135 now 141..... I should come take some measurements of that beauty hardtop Ray. Any suggestions for me? Do/wouldn't do?

The way I did it is very costly and time consuming. An easier and cheaper way would be to buy some airex ( Spelling?) foam and bend over a curved framework to your liking and then fiberglass all around, pretty easy.I bought my stainless tubing from "Alaskan copper and brass"in Vancouver. They shipped it to my door.I did all the cutting and fitting to my requirements and had Associated sheet metal weld it up for me.It's been on the boat 5 years now,no rust or corrosion, and strong enough that I can jump on top to clean etc..

Of course there is no rust I know you passivated all the welds properly.

Sir-visor, I like your radar arch. Does it fold down for storage? Where did you get it from? And how much if you do not mind me asking? I have a 2301 and i am looking for a radar arch.

The arch is from Atlantic Towers at http://www.atlantictowers.com/ , for about 1500 usa and they shipped it free to my postal address in Blaine, I just got a mail box
number from hagan at http://hagens.packagedirector.ca/default.aspx and then gave Atlantic Towers my order and visa and it was sent and picked up in a week or
so free of charge. Just paid the taxes at the boarder and home to set it up. It calls for two guys to set it up, but I did it myself in 2 weekends. Its been a great tower so far. I do not have the tilt down brackets but you can get them for a few bucks more, just look on the web site for the details.
I would recommend Atlantic Towers to anyone, they are fantastic people to deal with and I gave them my credit card number which I usually don't do (due to my back ground as a banker lol) with no problems. Good Luck !

Here is a few better pics of the tower

makes sense on a 30' boat.... i dont think its a 2092..

Oop's, our boat is a 2902 Trophy, she is 33'11" Length Overall. The twin kickers really help with trolling straight in any conditions and tides. The aft steering station makes setting gear a breeze when fishing alone.
