The 150 is a great motor on the back of the hewes. Hewescraft has a great parts department you can buy direct for really good prices just call and speak with Kerry Anne.

Couldn't agree more on the yami 150's. Had one on my last boat for 5~6 years and a few on work boats flawless with the exception of the reverse gear on the early model. If you had multiple users ( insert inexperienced) that shifted slow rattling the clutch dogs they needed to be replaced but again that was the early models. Start every time, good on fuel & quiet my wife could learn.... not going there.

Etecalicious!!!

Hey Bones, Congratulations on the new rig! looks sweet and she must go like a raped ape lol!! I bought a brand new ETEC for my trophy in aug, 2012, after researching and comparing motors for 2 years, the main 2 reasons I went for the ETEC are 1 my buddy in the coast guard said he had 1500 hours on one and 2000 on the other with no issues, and 2nd Trophy's are butt heavy so I figured go with the lighter 2 stroke and let me tell you 150 hours later and this motor is phenomenal!!!

Took me over a year to find what I wanted and the ETEC was for me.

So far I am one Happy Camper and with a Lowrance Elite-7m Gold GPS Chartplotter with Navionics Chartcard which is still in the box I will be for awhile!!!
