And where is a good site to find out the different types of flounder??? Sounds like there is many variaties. Any taste better than others???

One other thing, what depth does it become dangerous for a bottom fish to be brought up to the serface before their eyes pop out & their air bag explodes [xx(]. I want to teach the youngsters proper fishing practices (take only what you WILL eat).[^]

on top of what C.A. said....if worst comes to worst what i used to do was jsut cruise around and randomly try different bays in th 50 - 150 ft range...give it some time, if none then move on. Found some wicked sole beds over here on the mainland that way.
