Enormous Columbia river springs in early 1900's

if the fish where allowed not get bonked up north and some came back as 7 yr olds would see a major increase in size i am sure?

Great video that re-caps most of the issue of the June Hog's. Chinook catches began declining the the 1880's. The theory was that hatcheries could make-up for human caused environmental damage & hatcheries began on the Columbia in the 1800's.

I believe there are current efforts by some of the Columbia Basin Tribes to re-establish the DNA of the June Hogs.
