do you seriously consider a k&c a decent boat, I certainly don't especially having rescued one as an escort boat during a bath tub race years ago, the topsides opened up coming apart from the hull in rough water coming into English Bay after a rough crossing, I managed to get it to the marine pier and secure probably minutes before it would have visited davey jones locker. pretty thin hulls too, pretty scary boats imho.

I could use the top for my restoration project! Too bad I am in the Kootenays, lol.

I have a 18.5 early 80’s K&C that I bought this year and would say it’s a solid boat still, lots of boats run into trouble due to poor maintenance. That said I paid about 11k for the motors and trailer, the fact they were on a solid boat was a bonus and was almost a throw in. And damn this illegal dumping really grinds my gears! Idiots with there asbestos drywall and Reno waste littering the back woods.

YES I DO....That is not the boats fault ;) most boaters Know the limitations of their craft and then there are the the others! Fished out of a late 60,s model thru the 70,s never a worry

At least they didn't just abandon it on the shore like a certain village i know so it can pollute the ocean

I don't see a registration K number on it.
Looks like a deliberate plan.
I remember seeing one on the Chemainus launch ramp last year.

The serial number is on the starboard stern. On the bumper strip.
